HUNDERBY hits screens Monday 27 August
The new comedy HUNDERBY from the mind of Julia Davis arrives on Sky Atlantic this bank holiday Monday 27 August.
Set in the 1800s Hunderby tells the story of Helene a shipwreck survivor washed ashore near a small English village. After being swept off her feet by the local pastor and moved into his house she falls under the watchful eye of housekeeper Dorothy who is more than a little involved in her master’s life. While Helene battles to keep secreta dark past that she cannot escape, she must navigate Dorothy’s devious scheming, her husband's harsh critique and a potential new love interest.
Ben Bishop stars as Tom, a frisky member of the staff at Helene's home and Daniel Lawrence Taylor is Geoff, a mute shipwreck survivor. The production also features Ian Moss as director of photography. Barunka O'Shaughnessy is script editor on the project.
