LIFE FOR BEGINNERS at Theatre503

LIFE FOR BEGINNERS, a series of interwoven plays by writers whose work has previously featured at Theatre503, is now playing there until Saturday 29th September.

The piece, that collectively ruminates on relationships striving for new beginnings, is co-directed by Artistic Director, Paul Robinson (with fellow Co-Artistic Director, Tim Roseman, marking his final season at the theatre), and features the work of Alice Birch and Ben Ellis, with lighting by Gary Bowman, and a cast that includes Zara Tempest-Walters.

Robinson’s slick direction

A duologue from Birch is initially perplexing, but develops into one of the most

The Stage

...unveiled in a spry, charming production by the two co-directors... it takes flight. Recommended.

Ben Ellis’s funny and affecting sequence

Zara Tempest- Walters as a girl with rage issues and Edward Hancock as a wide-eyed innocent misled by lad mags are both enchanting
