BFI funds Michael Lennox's A PATCH OF FOG
The BFI Film Fund has announced it will fund Micahel Lennox's psycholical-thriller feature A PATCH OF FOG through its First Feature Awards scheme.
Chosen as the winner of Northern Ireland Screen’s New Talent Focus scheme, the film follows a celebrated novelist’s slow entrapment within the clutches of an increasingly obsessive security guard. It wll be produced and financed by The Fyzz Facility, and supported by Northern Ireland Screen and Goldcrest Post Production.
Belfast-born filmmaker Lennox studied directing at the NFTS. His short THE BACK OF BEYOND was nominated for Best Short Film at the European Film Awards, and won awards at Locarno and the Royal Society of Television Awards.
His latest short BOOGALOO & GRAHAM was selected to screen at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival.
