TV BAFTA Winners 2015
There was much cause for celebration at the TV BAFTAs last night as UA’s Jason Watkins was named the winner of the Leading Actor in 2015 award.
Jason played the eponymous lead in THE LOST HONOUR OF CHRISTOPHER JEFFRIES; a mini-series centred on a retired school teacher, whose quiet and orderly life is thrown into disarray when his tenant, Joanna Yeates, suddenly disappears into thin air.
The show itself picked up the award for Mini Series in 2015, and also starred UA’s Ben Caplan who played Charles Chapman.
BBC’s HAPPY VALLEY which starred UA’s Alan McKenna, won Drama Series 2015, while author, writer and broadcaster Clive James was honoured by BAFTA and presented with the Special Award in 2015. Jeff Pope was also honoured with the Special Award for his outstanding creative contribution to television.
