The Trials of Jimmy Rose
The Trials of Jimmy Rose premieres this Sunday on ITV and features a host of UA talent. Tom Cullen stars as Jason Rose, son of the titular Jimmy, while Charlotte Randle plays the role of Julie Cooper. Adrian Shergold directs the series, Tania Reddin edits and Tony Slater Ling is the Director of Photography.
Career criminal Jimmy Rose leaves prison after serving twelve years for armed robbery. Jimmy wants to return to his family and live a life of decency but this may prove harder than expected. Jimmy’s wife doubts whether she loves him anymore, his son doesn’t much care for him either and his daughter has her own troubles. When Jimmy tries to help his granddaughter, he sparks a chain of events that could force him back into a life of crime.
The first of three episodes of The Trials of Jimmy Rose airs on ITV on Sunday 30th August at 21:00.
