THE ALIENS - New to E4 this week

Tune into E4 at 9pm on Tuesday 8th March to see THE ALIENS, the exciting new drama series from Clerkenwell films which stars Jim Howick.  

Set 40 years after an alien ship crash lands in the North Sea, thousands of humanoid aliens and a generation of their descendants have been ghetto-ised to 'Troy' a secure, walled area where they live separately from humankind.  When border guard Lewis (played by Michael Socha) discovers he is in fact half alien, he and alien colleague Dominic (played by Jim Howick) are dragged into an underground criminal world of gangs, drug deals and prison breaks. 

The series is shot by Director of Photograpy David Higgs BSC, and features an all-star cast which also includes Reuben Johnson and Maggie Service.

Written by Fintan Ryan (In The Flesh) and produced by Clerkenwell Films (Misfits) THE ALIENS touches on themes of tribalism, intolerance and racial unease, promising to be darkly comedic and action packed as well as socially resonant.
