Tara is an award-winning actress, receiving the New York Critics Circle Best Supporting Actress Award in 1995 for her OPHELIA opposite Ralph Fiennes HAMLET. She also won the Best Actress Award at The Reims International Television Festival in 1999 for her role of Lady Dona St Columb in FRENCHMAN'S CREEK.
Onstage, Fitzgerald has played some of the most iconic theatrical roles including Lady Macbeth at Shakespeare’s Globe, Blanche Dubois with Bristol Old Vic, and Antigone with the Old Vic. She continues to make impactful performances across the London theatre scene.
No stranger to large scale television projects, Tara appeared in season 4 of HBO’s GAME OF THRONES, BBC’S THE MUSKETEERS, and Carnival Film’s BELGRAVIA.
