Paul Lucas was born in Coventry and currently lives in Cardiff.
His first three plays - SWAMP CITY(1996), ALL THAT TROUBLE WE HAD (1999) and THE SLIGHT WITCH (2000) - were all staged at The Birmingham Rep, and published by Faber.
THE STAR THROWERS (2002) was staged by The Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough and publised by Oberon.
THE DICE HOUSE was performed at The Coventry Belgrade, then in a revised form at The Pleasance Dome during The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2002. It opened in The West End at The Arts Theatre, Leicester Square in 2004 and has subsequently been performed in the USA, Norway and Estonia.
HOW TO TELL THE MONSTERS FORM THE MISFITS was staged at The Birmingham Rep in 2008 and published by Oberon.
For radio, he wrote the Iguanodon, a three part series, for Radio 4 in 1997.
