Rosie is an award winning TV, film and commercials director with over 12 years experience in the UK’s scripted TV industry, She specialises in funny, nuanced, often offbeat and heartfelt storytelling with strong characters front and centre.

Her work has won Broadcast and RTS awards and been nominated for a Rose D’OR. Latest projects include BAFTA qualifying short Just Delivered (starring 22 non actors) which won the Audience Award at Calgary International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Short Film at both the BAFTA recognised Carmarthen Bay and British Urban Film Festival. Her work has played all over the world, from LA to Sydney to Norwich.

She has directed online sketch series Big Juice for Channel 4 with Merman. And independently Random Act short Dawn Of A New Gay, which played at LFF. She has sat on BAFTA and RTS juries and is currently on Director’s UK’s Inspire scheme, being mentored by Jim Archer. In her commercials work she has directed some of the UK’s biggest talent for the UK’s biggest brands including Sex Education’s Aimee Lou Wood for Bumble, comic Judi Love for PG Tips, Ellie Taylor for Maltesers and Jamie Redknapp for Tesco.

Before directing Rosie worked extensively in production and development as Director of Development at ABC International and lead at Little Dot Studios (part of All Three Media) scripted comedy and comedy drama development, building an innovative and unique slate of projects. Struggling to find female directors she decided to be the change she wanted to see…and hasn’t looked back.

"Rosie is pretty uniquely placed in the comedy telly fraternity. Lovely to work with, a can-do approach to anything big or small and she can write and direct. in fact is there anything she can’t do? I’ve changed my mind, she’s annoyingly talented and needs to be stopped." — Lucy Lumsden, MD Yellow Door Productions, former Head of Sky Comedy
