Neil is a working-class award winning neurodivergent writer and director for
film and television. Neil gained critical acclaim for his short film Mirrors which he wrote and directed which premiered at the BFI Flare Film Festival and was released on Boys on Film 11 and screened at festivals across the world. He was runner-up for Best of British at IRIS PRIZE 2015.

Neil co-wrote and directed stage musical CLOSETS performed at Hope Mill
Theatre to sell out audiences and rave reviews.

Neil is now working alongside Grammy Award Winner Eliot Kennedy, and co-writer Lloyd Eyre-Morgan, to develop a new musical. Furthermore, Neil is currently set to co-write a new, exciting, British Horror film, KILL PILL, with Island Films.

In 2020, Neil co-wrote and created a coming of age short film S.A.M, (available on ALL 4) which explores acceptance and how people living with a learning disability can feel about love and sexuality. The film was supported by MENCAP and stars CBEEBIES presenter and MENCAP ambassador George Webster, HOLLYOAKS actor David Tag and ACKLEY BRIDGE’S Sam Retford.

Neil, and the team behind S.A.M, are currently in development for a future length version.

Neil is currently developing a new film which he has co-created called CHAPI ZINGDAGI 'A Secret Life' set to shoot this September.

WHITE WEDDING 2022		Co-creator/Producer. A horror concept film - featuring an original music number by Eliot Kennedy - currently screening at festivals globally.
S.A.M 2020	Channel 4	Co-writer/ workshop director. Currently showing via Channel 4, with on demand access available via All 4.
DEVILS PLAY 2017		Co-writer/ co-director. Oscar Accredited Horror Short starring Katie Jarvis. Winner of the Platinum USA Spotlight Film Festival Award 2018 for Best Horror Short showcased at Oscar Accredited Film Festivals, including the USA Atlanta Film Festival 2018.
MIRRORS 2015		Writer/Director. Peccadillo Pictures released on BOYS ON FILM - TIME AND TIDE with cinema release across the UK. Winner of the Iris Prize 2015. Best of British - Pinewood Studios awarded £15,000 post-production funds for the winner.

CLOSETS 2018	Hope Mill Theatre	Co-writer/ Co-director. Starring Hayley Tamaddon and Sam Retford. Received 5 star reviews from Jack The Lad Magazine and 4 star reviews from The Stage, Attitude Magazine, Musical Theatre Review and Manchester Theatre Awards.
ASYLUM OF GRACE 2013		Writer. An original stage play based on a true story. Dealing with mental health and gaslighting in relationships; the show was selected to be shown on International Women's Day, supported by charity Independent Choices. The show gained 4 and 5 star reviews and was revived in 2014.
