IFTA Nominations
Nominations for the 2016 IFTA Awards have been announced, including several for UA clients.
Olwen Fouéré for Actress in a Supporting Role Film for THE SURVIVALIST
Sarah Greene for Actress in a Lead Role Drama for REBELLION and Actress in a Supporting Role Drama for PENNY DREADFUL.
Victoria Smurfit for Actress in a Supporting Role Drama for ONCE UPON A TIME
Paddy Breathnach for Best Director Film for VIVA, which has also received nominations for Best Film and Best Film Script.
SING STREET, cast by Louise Kiely and starring Lucy Boynton and Maria Doyle Kennedy has been nominated for several awards including Best Film and Best Director. VIKINGS, written and created by Michael Hirst, has once again been nominated for Best Drama. ROOM, which was shot by Danny Cohen BSC, has also received a number of nominations including Best Film. THE QUEEN OF IRELAND, the documentary about Panti Bliss which was co-produced and co-written by Phillip McMahon, has been nominated in the George Morrison Feature Documentary category as well as Editing.
