Nominees for Evening Standard Theatre Awards 2015 Announced

The nominees for the 61^st Evening Standard Theatre Awards have now been published. The awards are in partnership with The Ivy and the winners will be announced at a ceremony directed by UA’s Sean Mathias.

UA nominees include James McAvoy who is contending for Best Actor following his performance in The Ruling Class at Trafalgar Studios in early 2015.

Gypsy, directed by UA’S Jonathan Kent and Associate Director Lloyd Wood, has been nominated for the Evening Standard Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical.

Actor, poet and songwriter, Johnny Flynn, starred in Hangmen which has been nominated for Best Play.

The winners will be announced in a ceremony at the Old Vic on 22nd November - We wish the above nominees the best of luck!
