Ellie can recently be seen starring in the new Apple TV+ series THE COMPLETELY MADE-UP ADVENTURES OF DICK TURPIN, alongside Noel Fielding, Hugh Bonneville, and Tamsin Greig.
Ellie recently starred in a key role in the tentpole Warner Bros' feature – WONKA. Her other recent credits include: THE GREAT, LIVE AT THE MOTH CLUB, and WE ARE NOT ALONE. Her portrayal of Princess Beatrice in the smash hit Channel 4 show THE WINDSORS, which has run for two seasons and had two specials, has garnered acclaim from critics and the show's viewing numbers have been fantastic.
Ellie reprised her lead role of Cathy, alongside co-leads Siobhan Finneran, Lauren Socha and Rebecca Front, in the second series of Holly Walsh’s THE OTHER ONE. The first series aired on BBC One in 2020 to rave reviews and the second series has also been met with acclaim.
In late 2021 and early 2022, Ellie filmed a key role in the tentpole Warner Bros' feature - WONKA.
Ellie has played the regular role of Katia in three series of Jamie Demetriou’s hit Channel 4 series STATH LETS FLATS. The series has won multiple BAFTAs and airs on HBO Max in the US.
Ellie and comedy partner, Natasia Demetriou, filmed their sketch series, ELLIE & NATASIA, for the BBC last year, which they made with CPL and Harry Hill. It launched on BBC Three and iPlayer in June 2022 to exceptional reviews (see below). The show has been commissioned for a second series, which is set to film next year. This will see the format set to move from BBC Three to BBC Two. The first series was shortlisted for a Rose d'Or Award and won the award for Best Sketch Series at the Comedy.co.uk Awards 2022. It was also nominated for Best Comedy Programme at the 2023 Broadcast Digital Awards.

Other notable acting credits include the BBC’s CLASS DISMISSED, HOUSE OF FOOLS, in which she starred alongside creators Vic and Bob, Matt Berry and Morgana Robinson, and MURDER IN SUCCESSVILLE, in which she played various characters including Cara Delevigne. She had a regular role in ITV2’s GLITCHY, and has a key guest role alongside Steve Pemberton and Reese Shearsmith in Series 3 of INSIDE NO. 9: THE BILL, which won a BAFTA for Best Writing.
In 2018, Ellie and Natasia had a sell-out run at the Soho Theatre and appeared in Dictionary Corner in character as “Mum’s the Word” on Channel 4’s 8 OUT OF 10 CATS DOES COUNTDOWN.
Ellie’s acting skills are not restricted to the screen. In 2017, she played the role of Marianne in Sean Foley's production of THE MISER alongside Griff Rhys Jones, Lee Mack and Matthew Horne at The Garrick Theatre in London's West End. She received some lovely write-ups:
