Matt grew up in the Peak District and studied Drama at the University of Hull. After a decade of living in London he now lives and works in Cardiff. He currently has multiple projects in various stages of development with Clerkenwell Films, Quay Street Productions, Poison Pen Studios, along with indies including Kudos/ Mammoth / Pathe and Pulse and with broadcasters: BBC/ITV/ Channel 4 and Netflix. His script Debris was on the 2022 Brit List.
