In 2022 she was nominated for Best Sound Design at The Offies for her work on For A Palestinian.
‘The mood is one of hazy, hushed, rustic days, with Holly Khan's score finding the tone: subdued, mournful, resigned to life's hardships, but with beauty and playfulness too’ - The Guardian (Tess 2024)
‘Holly Khan provides an effective, omnipresent sound score, thrumming constantly underneath the words like Malachi’s tortured subconscious, occasionally exploding into abject terror or total joy.’ - What’s On Stage (Dreaming & Drowning 2023)
‘Designs from Khan usher us into wonderful suspended moments in time’ - London Theatre Review (Blackout Songs 2022)
'Multi-instrumentalist Holly Khan's gorgeous soundscape is central and crucial to the storytelling. From the smooth jazz of a stolen kiss to the soft violins and haunting vocals of Liv's tormented creative process, Khan's tunes are elegant in their eclecticism. Her sound design is equally impressive. A leak in the roof drops into a bucket becoming the tell-tale heart of Liv and Kate's relationship' - Cindy Marcolina, Broadway World (The Beach House, 2023)
