Phoebe Barran is an award-winning director, who won an Off West End Award for her revival of Tryst at the Chiswick Playhouse.  Snapshots was her debut film in collaboration with Lliana Bird which was selected for 15 festivals and won 6 awards. Most recently, she was selected for the BBC TalentWorks Casualty Directors' Scheme. ​

Theatre directing credits include: New musical 'Are You As Nervous As I Am?' (Greenwich Theatre),  Tryst (Tabard Theatre, UK tour Spring 2020), An Evening with Noel Fielding (UK and International tour), Four Days In Hong Kong, Suppressed Desires and Scenes from a Separation (Orange Tree), The Fitzrovia Radio Hour (BBC Radio Theatre, Edinburgh Festival and National Tour), The Tin Horizon (Theatre503) and Ours (Finborough).

Phoebe has worked as an Assistant Director at the Royal Court, National Theatre and the RSC.​

Current work includes: Directing an episode of Casualty, editing her 4th short film Croydon Cowgirl, developing and directing a play with music for children based on a best selling children’s book and two brand-new plays.
