Amit is currently directing 2 episodes of Avatar the Last Airbender for Netflix/ Rideback.

Last year he was Producing Director and Executive Producer on “We Were The Lucky Ones” for Hulu/20th TV//Old 320 Sycamore. Before that he was lead director and consulting producer on HIS DARK MATERIALS – THE AMBER SPYGLASS (Episodes 1, 2, 6 and 7) for HBO/BBC/Bad Wolf. 
 
His features include RESISTANCE which starred Andrea Riseborough, Tom Wlaschiha and Michael Sheen, and was nominated for three BAFTAs, winning for Best Actress. Other nominations included the WGGB Best First Feature and the CineVision Award at Munich.
 
Amit started his career writing and directing for stage. His first play as a writer, Touch, was one of the winners of the Royal Court Theatre Young Writers’ Competition. Other plays include CAMPAIGN, which premiered at London’s Tricycle Theatre was nominated for an Olivier Award and won a Liberty Human Rights Award, as part of THE GREAT GAME.
