William Pettigrew is a prize-winning author and history Professor, tour guide, lecturer, and historical adviser. He specialises in the causes and legacies of Empire especially with reference to the transatlantic trade in enslaved African people and the East India Company.

Christopher Luscombe

Christopher Luscombe read English at Cambridge. He began his career as an actor, spending seven years with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He went on to appear at the National Theatre, the Old Vic and in the West End.

Ber Anena is a Ugandan writer, editor, and performer. Her poetry and prose have been published in The Atlantic, adda, Off Assignment, Brittle Paper, Isele, The Plentitudes and New Daughters of Africa anthology, among others. She is currently a Ph.D.
