Stella is a writer from London. Her most recent play BOOK OF ALICE was shortlisted for the 2024 George Devine Award (‘lyrical, striking and mythic’ George Devine Panel). Her debut play EZRA was shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Playwriting, and a sold-out reading of her play NINE AVALANCHES starring Niamh Cusack launched the Orange Tree’s new Lunch Plays programme in 2024. Stella’s short film YOU WILL SEE EVERYTHING screened during the pandemic (‘a poetic work of great and precise power’ The Sunday Times), while her digital performance commissioned by Brite Theatre, GHOST DISCO, has to-date been played across thirty six countries. Stella has been a member of numerous associations and groups, and is currently a member of the Royal Court Writer’s Group 2025-26.
